The role of scenario in the system of strategic planning of Russian production enterprises from the position of ensuring their economic sustainability

Abstract

The article shows the testing of the author’s methodological approach to the integration of scenario engineering into the strategic planning system of Russian production enterprises in order to ensure their economic sustainability and stability (on the basis of construction industry). The proposed approach, based on the financial indicators of construction enterprises, allows creating directions for formulating scenarios and constructing scenario plans, interpreting them in quantitative terms. This aspect may influence the understanding of the possibility of efficient combining of qualitative and quantitative data in the implementation of the scenario and serve as material for further research in the field of managing the uncertainty of the future.
