Application of business excellence models as a basis of quality policy of industrialized countries
Abstract
After Russia’s accession to the WTO, national companies, in the face of increased competition, need to improve their operational efficiency by building a proper balance between price and quality of products through improving management. The article describes business excellence models and presents the results of their application by foreign companies. The author concludes that the application of business excellence models improves production efficiency and the company’s image in the market, which, accordingly, increases its competitiveness.
