Competitive strategy of the higher education institution: review of approaches to tracture, principles of formation and implementation

Abstract

The article presents the results of the study of the evolution of the notion of competitive strategy. The analysis of the approaches of domestic and foreign researchers regarding the possibility and feasibility of applying certain competitive concepts, or their totality, in different market conditions is revealed. Tough competition in the market of global education in modern conditions, as well as modernization of the Russian system of higher education, pose challenges for universities to monitor the competitive environment for selecting and implementing promising competitive strategies.
