Consumer behavior and cyclicity of economic development (on the example of Russia and China)

Abstract

Consumer behavior and cyclical development of the economy are interdependent, and it is important to understand the nature of this relationship. The article discusses cyclical development, the contribution of households to GDP, the dynamics of income, expenditure and savings of the population on the example of Russia and China. Common features, features and current trends in consumer behavior in these countries are shown. It is concluded that increasing the role of domestic consumer demand will allow countries to significantly change and strengthen national economies.
