The innovative potential of Moscow as an evolution factor of global financial centers: international comparative analysis

Abstract

The article deals with present global financial centers and specially noted the role innovative aspect in its development. In the study has been examined the weaknesses of the existing global financial centers. The ranking of global and emerging financial centers of the innovation capacity are analyzed. Authors have given significant attention to the perspectives of development of global financial center in Moscow. Authors have formulated a set of measures to ensure innovative development of the city, claiming the title of global financial center.
