On the issue of emergence and development of investment funds in Russia
Abstract
The article discusses the history of mutual funds in Russia. The current situation in this segment of the collective investment market is analyzed. The author concludes that at this stage this financial institution, as a form of collective investment, has ceased to be an effective mediator for transforming savings into investments.
