The role of international franchising in the hotel business development in the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation
Abstract
The article characterizes the provision of hotel rooms in the Southern Federal District. The necessity of developing the hotel business in certain southern cities of Russia is shown. The necessity of using international franchising as a tool for the development of the hotel industry in the region is substantiated. Based on the analysis of the role of international operators in the hotel market of the Southern Federal District, a conclusion is made about the still insufficient use of the potential of international franchising in the development of the regional hotel real estate market.
