Development of remote banking services in Russia: opportunities and risks (on the example of VTB Bank)

Abstract

The article analyzes the dynamics of remote banking services (RBS) in the Russian Federation and their role in the structure of banking products. It is demonstrated that the central challenge in the development of RBS remains the provision of cybersecurity and the protection of personal and financial data of clients. Using the case of PJSC VTB Bank, the study examines the key performance indicators of remote services and identifies promising directions for strengthening competitiveness through the improvement of digital ecosystems, personalization of customer service, and the introduction of advanced technological solutions.
