Abstract

In modern challenging economic conditions, when most enterprises are forced to suspend their activities, the government must provide a number of effective measures to support business, as the finances of enterprises are the basis for the functioning of the financial system as a whole. The most acute need for such support is experienced by small enterprises, which often do not have enough financial resources to wait out the crisis. The article assesses the state of small business at the regional level, considers measures of state support for enterprises, and evaluates their practical effects.
