MSW management in large Russian cities: business and households involvement

Abstract

The article analyzes the current situation with MSW in Russia, identifies the main participants in the MSW management system, identifies their main functions, substantiates the role of business and households as the main actors that can increase the effectiveness of the MSW management system. In conclusion, the authors analyze the reasons for the results and make recommendations on increasing the involvement of business and households in the MSW management system.
