Macroeconomic derivative indexes for analysis of the regional economy

Abstract

The article demonstrates the possibilities of economic analysis of the regional activity for a given period of time, using macroeconomic derivative indexes based on Krasnodar region statistics for the years 2007–2009. The suggested analysis methods can be equally used for other regions, time periods and for analyzing economic activity of the country as a whole.
