Analysis of practice of inflation targeting mode in Russia and abroad
Abstract
The article considers the practice of applying the inflation targeting regime in foreign countries. The characteristic of the main parameters is presented and the efficiency of this mode is estimated on the basis of the inflation dynamics analysis. Dynamics of inflation in Russia before and after the introduction of the inflation targeting regime is shown. A conclusion is drawn that the transition to inflation targeting in Russia is not sufficiently justified.
