Investment aspects of European transnational banks expansion to Russia

Abstract

In this article the authors describe peculiarities of the most successful Western and Eastern European multinational banks investment policy in the course of their expansion to Russia. The article sets out results of a unique survey concerning the attitude of Russian clients to European transnational banks. Study materials have theoretical and practical significance for Russian banks planning to expand overseas, as well as for foreign banks that consider the possibility of expanding its business in Russia.
