The journal Economics: Theory and Practice publishes scholarly articles on current issues in global and Russian economics, economic theory, finance, management, marketing, logistics, and entrepreneurship.

Only previously unpublished articles in Russian that have not been submitted for consideration to other journals are accepted for publication.

The journal is published four times a year. Manuscripts are accepted within the following deadlines:

  • Issue No. 1 — until February 15,
  • Issue No. 2 — until May 15,
  • Issue No. 3 — until August 15,
  • Issue No. 4 — until November 15.

The editorial office reserves the right to shorten the submission period if the maximum volume of an issue is reached ahead of schedule. Only one article by the same author may be published in a single issue of the journal.

All submitted articles undergo mandatory peer review in accordance with the Peer Review Regulations and are checked for text originality using the Antiplagiat system. The recommended level of originality is at least 90%. Publication is possible only upon receipt of a positive peer review.

Publication of articles is subject to a publication fee. The cost of editorial and publishing services is 750 rubles per A4 page prepared in accordance with the journal’s requirements. Payment is made via Sberbank of the Russian Federation on the basis of a contract sent to the author after the article is included in a forthcoming issue of the journal. Full-time postgraduate students funded from the state budget, upon submission of an official certificate, as well as members of the Editorial Council, Editorial Board, and editorial office, are exempt from the publication fee.

The length of an article must be from 0.5 to 1 printer’s sheet (no more than 40,000 characters, including spaces). The submitted article must contain in Russian:

  • UDC index;
  • title of the article;
  • information about the author(s). For each author, the following must be indicated: surname, first name, patronymic, academic degree, academic title, position, affiliation, and e-mail address;
  • abstract. The abstract must not exceed 500 characters, including spaces;
  • keywords. Keywords (5–7) should be provided in the nominative case;
  • main text. The use of footnotes is not permitted;
  • references. The reference list must be arranged in alphabetical order and formatted in accordance with GOST R 7.0.100–2018. In-text references should be given in square brackets.

At the end of the article, the following must be provided in English:

  • title of the article;
  • information about the author(s);
  • abstract;
  • keywords;
  • references.

The article must be prepared using Microsoft Word in A4 format with portrait orientation and margins of 2.0 cm. The font used is Times New Roman, 14 pt; text alignment is justified; line spacing is 1.5; paragraph indentation is 1.2 cm. Automatic hyphenation must be enabled; the hyphenation zone is 1 cm; the maximum number of consecutive hyphenations is no more than three. Figures, tables, and formulas must be created using Word tools; figures and graphs are accepted only in black-and-white format and should be grouped if necessary.

Electronic versions of articles are accepted via the online submission system or by e-mail at etip@kubsu.ru. Files must be named “Surname_article.doc” and “Surname_form.doc”.

Manuscripts that do not comply with the established requirements are not considered by the editorial office.
