Abstract

The article considers alternative theoretical-methodological and scientific-practical components of the market economy phenomenon, demonstrates its main trends, including modern contradictory contents of transformational expectations. The main attention is paid to the imperatives of solving political economy research problems, focused on a systematic approach to comprehending the vectors of instability which threaten the existing economic order.
