Flour production as a growth point of the grain cluster of the Krasnodar region

Abstract

Western sanctions are increasingly putting Russia’s food, economic and industrial security at risk. The rupture of relations with Russian companies leads to a deterioration in the state of Russian enterprises. It is necessary to develop Russian production, primarily constituting the country’s food security in order to reduce import dependence. The paper considers the example of flour mills in the Krasnodar Territory as the most promising enterprises in terms of economic development, and also suggests ways to improve their position in the market.
