Financial strategy as an element of commercial bank development strategy
Abstract
The global financial crisis has demonstrated the impossibility of long-term development of a commercial bank that uses an inefficient financial strategy. The article considers the stages of developing a strategic plan, as well as the main directions of financial strategy and their interrelation. The author concludes that, despite obvious progress over the past twenty years, Russian banks still lack sufficiently developed mechanisms for financial planning and implementation of financial strategies.
