Basic problems of unemployment changes in the labor market of the Russian Federation and the ways of their solution
Abstract
Unemployment in the labor market arises in natural and forced forms for different reasons. The main factors of unemployment increase are researched: internal (changes in product demand and government support of industries) and external (economic sanctions, the COVID-19 pandemic). The analysis of unemployment in Russian federal districts demonstrated its increase in 2020. Measures to reduce unemployment and instruments for their implementation have been developed to stabilize employment and increase the competitiveness of enterprises.
