Development of the pharmaceutical market of the Russian Federation under the influence of import substitution policy
Abstract
The article substantiates the relevance and necessity of qualitative changes in the Russian pharmaceutical industry. It analyzes statistical data characterizing the dynamics of development and changes in the structure of the domestic pharmaceutical market since the beginning of the active implementation of the import substitution policy and the implementation of the state support program for the industry (2014–2019). The current level of import dependence of the industry is determined, and the key growth driver and the main trends of the domestic pharmaceutical market are identified.
