Regional features of the age composition of working-age population (on the example of the Lipetsk region)
Abstract
The demographic characteristics of the working-age population have a significant impact on the opportunities and prospects for socio-economic development of the country and its regions. The article analyzes the dynamics of the working-age population as the main part of the labor resources of the Lipetsk region in 2014–2018. The authors conclude that the determining factors in the Lipetsk region are the reduction of the population aged 16–29 and 50–54 years.
