The public sector of the economy as a specific socio-economic system

Abstract

The public sector of the economy plays an important role in the process of social reproduction. The aim of the study is to study the theoretical foundations of the functioning of the public sector system. The author developed the mission of the public sector system and identified the main elements of such a socio-economic system. The study found that the public sector is a specific system whose mission is to create the prerequisites for inclusive economic growth.
