Abstract

The article discusses the main aspects of the formation and development of human capital in Russia against the background of negative trends in the socio-economic dynamics, conducted international comparisons of indicators of education, health, life expectancy. Identified positive and negative factors of growth of human capital, the role of the labour market and problems of youth in its dynamics, evaluation of the present state of human capital and its development prospects in Russia.
