Reorientation of Russia to the East: challenges and risks
Abstract
The study authors consider questions of cooperation between Russia and China in the field of energy and bilateral trade on the background of the EU sanctions. This article will examine the potential economic problems and risks associated with the «Eastern vector» of Russia. The main emphasis is on the authors that the sanctions entered Western countries are pushing Russia to intensify the process of finding strategic political and economic allies in the East.
