Статья посвящена исследованию тенденций и особенностей развития внешней торговли Калининградской области в период глобальной нестабильности, вызванной пандемией COVID-19. С учетом данных официальной статистики определено, что снижение показателей внешней торговли товарами и услугами произошло в рамках прогнозируемого ВТО уровня падения мировой торговли в целом. Изменения в соотношениях экспорта и импорта позволили улучшить сальдо внешнеторгового баланса. Анализ товарной структуры и структуры услуг позволил выявить отрасли, в которых в наибольшей степени снизились показатели экспорта и импорта в 2020 г. Проведенный анализ подтвердил, что пандемия не является определяющим фактором кризисного состояния внешней торговли Калининградской области. Меры повышения эффективности региональной экономики должны быть направлены на стимулирование развития перерабатывающих отраслей, поддержку экспорта отечественной продукции с высокой добавленной стоимостью.

The article is devoted to the study of trends and features of the development of foreign trade in the Kaliningrad region during the period of global instability caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Using official statistics data, it was determined that the decline in the indicators of foreign trade in goods and services took place within the framework of the level of decline in world trade predicted by the WTO as a whole. Changes in the export and import ratios have improved the balance of the foreign trade balance. The analysis of the commodity structure and the structure of services made it possible to identify the industries in which export and import indicators decreased to the greatest extent in 2020. The analysis confirmed that the pandemic is not a determining factor in the crisis state of foreign trade in the Kaliningrad region. Measures to boost the regional economy should be aimed at stimulating the development of processing industries, supporting the export of domestic products with high added value.
