В статье анализируются основные направления влияния войн и военных приготовлений на развитие экономики. Особое внимание уделяется сравнению результатов воздействия роста абсолютных и относительных размеров военных затрат на экономику развитых и развивающихся государств. Автор приходит к выводу, что при прочих равных условиях, чем менее развита экономическая база общества, тем сильнее фактическое бремя одного и того же удельного веса военных расходов в ВВП и тем глубже их негативное влияние на национальное хозяйство.
The article analyzes the main directions of influence of wars and military preparations on the economy. In the study the special attention is paid to the comparison of the results of the impact of the increase in the absolute and relative size of military expenditures on the economies of developed and developing countries. The author comes to conclusion that, ceteris paribus, than a less developed economic base of the society, the stronger the actual burden of the same specific weight of military expenditures in GDP and the deeper their negative impact on the national economy.
